Death, Burial and Resurrection Chart

Download Resurrection Chart

A blessed Resurrection Day to all!  This downloadable chart give you a preview of the Death, Burial and Resurrection of the Jesus Christ, 3 days and 3 nights full as stated on Matthew 12:40.  The chart is 1600px X 2644px or 10.667in x 17.627in in size.

For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

This is contrary of today's teaching that Jesus died on Friday.  This chart is based on the original work of Greg Miller of King James Bible Believers.  Embedded also after jump is the full PDF of the original article.

Weddings

Randy & Mercy Wedding

It's a blessing to see a lot of friends getting married this year.  For starters, wedding websites and invitations are not really my forte but I took one project over the summer.  I guess there is always a first time for everything and it's great to see the outcome of the project which is still on-going by the way.

Wedding Website

It has come to my attention that wedding websites are now part of the trend when planning a wedding.  With the help of social media it is now very easy inform everyone about the details and to keep everyone in the loop.  The article from Mashable, "7 Reasons Why You Need a Wedding Website" should give you an idea.

There's a lot of free online wedding platforms but I used Blogger instead and bought a domain.  I used the Blogger version of Memoir which was originally a WordPress theme from Elegant Themes.  The main reason I chose Blogger is that freedom to heavily customize the template to your liking.  You can view Randy & Mercy's wedding website here.

Golden

Nov 6, 2011

I'm currently obsessed over this watercolor effect on Photoshop.  So much so, I have decided to work on the "Golden Series" of our own small family business, Cake Garden in Bohol.  The following are some of the favorites and top purchases of all time.  Some of the items that will correspond to the "Golden" theme will be added later on.  For now, here's a small preview of Cake Garden's Golden Series.

Leche Flan

One of the oldest favorites, the Leche Flan has come a long way. From revisions to experimentation to give the old Filipino classic a better texture and taste. This is the image that started this project. More items after the jump. Enjoy

Punctilious

Publishing a blog post takes only 10-15 minutes.  Proofreading it may also take the same time or less.  Inserting  HTML tags, adjusting image relative size, drop caps, lighbox - half an hour!  I must say I enjoy tinkering my posts and my blog layout that's why I spent the whole day tweaking Cake Garden yesterday.

Updated Cake Garden Site

While I was coding away, Dad and I are also chatting on Skype at the same time. He was like, "why do we need two blogs for Cake Garden?" "Well this one is not really the blog, it's the main site with the gallery and all they need to know about Cake Garden. It's just that we're using Blogger to host our site and blog. Cake Garden Blog is the blog, this one is the main site. Give your readers this link." I replied - a bit annoyed. "I'm confused", he said. "Don't be, just give them this link and not the blog. They'll come around eventually", I fired back. "Aiyoh! So confusing lah!"

Well that's not really the whole transcript but it pretty look much like that. The thing is, you can make great websites using Blogger. I was bored at WordPress. It's too easy. That is why I came back here on Blogger for my personal stuff. Now, more details on the tweaked Cake Garden site.

Price and  Try

This is the major change I made yesterday. I basically re-edited all the image on the entries on Photoshop and attached the designated price on each product.  Rounded Pricing & Info Callouts PSD from 365psd.  The ones that has the Try tag on are custom orders. They're not really part of the streamlined products but if customers with to try it out, we'll give them a quote on the said item. I re-posted every entry from the ground up. It took decades.

Homeward

MigriƱo, not Migrino

I will be flying back home to Bohol on the 3rd! I miss home, our dogs, our kitchen and my family. I made a short list that I need to accomplish in two weeks time. I'll be flying with Airphil Express (see my revamp of the Airphil Express blog here) from Iloilo to Cebu then Cebu to Tagbilaran via fast craft.

I made this list so that I'll have reachable goals when I get home and not just stare at this, whole day!

All things bright and beautiful!

I'm going to enjoy breakfast again with this in front of me. Read my bible and have coffee the usual but this list will help me to be more productive since I have more resources at home like: a much faster internet connection, a camera and my sister Scarlet as my personal slave assistant.

Tweaks

EXPRESSions on Air
I am desperate!  So I'm turning my  blog tweaking skills into cash!  You name the price!  Yep, seriously.  Seriously?  I just said seriously.  Piso!  Nah, c'mon man!  Seriously, a blog tweak for one peso?

I can't code a blog layout from the ground up but I could pick a layout for you and tweak it here and there.  You know those pesky lines of codes you dreadfully hate, I can manage.  Why?  Because I care!  I care about your Blogger blog looking ambushed by ads and buttons and links and banners and all that stuff that makes me and other readers want to leave your blog right away!

EXPRESSions on Air Sample Blog
You see I'm particular about a lot of things like:  typography, width, header, logo and the like.  I don't like pop-ups, screaming ads, deceiving ads and photos that are not aligned well in a post, like they were just plastered there for no reason whatsoever!

Since I have this handful of skill and I have these handful of items that I need want:  speakers, Crocs, G-shock and a printer I might as well convert this skill into hard, cold cash!  Hey, at least I'm being honest here.  For how much?  Well, I'll let you decided that.  In other words, whatever you can afford.  Let's talk!

Projects

Mar 28, 2011

I love taking side projects especially for Bible-believing churches.  I think I should start a section to showcase these projects but for now here are some of my favorites.  I'm currently available for side projects including blog tweaking.  All of these projects so far are for free (especially for churches).  Another thing is that I don't really know how to put a price mainly because I'm an amateur.  This is just a hobby while trying also to help others at the same time.  You can contact me at emigrino83@yahoo.com or you can use my savvy contact form here.
